- Organic dates - Grown in sunny Southern California. Dates are an excellent source of fiber and antioxidants. Our dates give sweetness to our chew without added sugar.

When we became friends, we quickly learned about our shared concerns for bone health. Jenny was only 30 when she was diagnosed with a rare form of osteoporosis, while Adrienne watched her mom, Judith, suffer from one fracture after another beginning at age 47. Both of us knew firsthand the toll that low bone density could take on our health.
Our different fields of expertise in food and medicine gave us a unique way to approach bone health nutrition together. Jenny, a clinical pharmacist (PharmD, BCACP), brought years of clinical knowledge about how nutrients are absorbed into our bone. Adrienne, a food studies researcher and PhD, brought expertise in food studies and diet. Together, we asked a simple question: Why can’t calcium supplementation be as natural and effective as eating calcium directly from food itself?

Milk minerals are the seven natural minerals found in milk: calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron and copper. Since this complex of minerals from milk mimic the body’s bone mineral composition, these minerals are easy for your body to recognize, process, and use to build and strengthen bone.
Unlike other calcium supplements that isolate synthetic calcium from stone or shells or are made in the lab, milk minerals provide you with a natural complex of calcium and minerals best used by your body.
Mushrooms are the only fungi to naturally make vitamin D when exposed to sunlight. Our vitamin D comes from sunbathed white button mushrooms.
Milk protein comes in a lot of different forms, but we include milk protein concentrate (MPC) in our calcium chew. MPC includes whey and casein proteins along with 9 essential amino acids.
It’s a complete, nutritionally complex protein source. When eaten alongside milk minerals, the whey and casein in MPC helps your body absorb the calcium better.
